How does Gable Parking work with our existing desk and office booking?
Parking is a native part of the Gable booking flow - employees reserve a parking spot in the same step as their desk, on the days they're coming in. No separate app, no double-booking. Admins manage parking inventory from the same dashboard used for desks, rooms, and visitors.
Can we assign dedicated spots to specific employees or teams?
Yes. Mix assigned and shared inventory in the same garage. Reserve VIP or accessibility spots for named employees, allocate blocks to specific teams or departments, and leave the rest as bookable pool inventory. Policies and rules are configured per spot or per group.
What happens when parking demand exceeds supply?
Set advance booking windows, daily limits per employee, and auto-release rules so unused spots go back into the pool. Credits and waiting lists (coming soon) will add a fairness layer for high-demand offices, allowing employees join a waiting list when the lot is full and get auto-assigned as spots free up.
Does Gable Parking support multiple offices, garages, and parking zones?
Yes. Manage parking across global offices, multiple garages per site, and zones within a garage (e.g., reserved, visitor, EV, accessibility, motorcycle). Each location can have its own policies, inventory, floor plans, and admins - while employees see one unified booking experience across the company.
Can employees check in to confirm they used their spot?
Yes. Employees check in via mobile or desktop when they arrive. If a reservation isn't checked in by a configurable cutoff, the spot auto-releases back to the pool. No-shows don't waste capacity, and other employees can grab the spot same-day. Admins see no-show rates by employee, team, and location in analytics.
